IS 180 digi Anthracite

The IS 180 digi presents itself in a flat, straight-lined design and impresses with its discreet lens optics. Thanks to the perfect integration of the lens into the housing, the IS 180 digi looks particularly elegant and inconspicuous compared to conventional infrared sensors - and thus always blends in perfectly with its surroundings. But the inner values are also convincing. With the IS 180 digi, we have achieved a real breakthrough in infrared sensor technology. Radial movements can now be detected much more precisely with the 180-degree sensor. And the previously very time-consuming delimitation of the sensor area is now much quicker and easier, simply digitally and zone by zone. The sensitivity is also digitally adjustable for each of the three zones. In combination with our newly developed mirror technology, the pyro sensors detect tangential as well as radial movements equally well. This means that the direction of movement within a radius of up to 8 m is irrelevant for the detection quality. Sensors and lights can be easily set, operated and networked via Bluetooth using the STEINEL Connect App.

No more time wasted defining the limits of your sensor’s range, thanks to virtually invisible digi sensors integrated in the luminaire. This can now be easily and flexibly adjusted via the STEINEL Connect App:

• The 180° detection area of the sensor is divided into three zones
• Each of the three zones can be activated or deactivated individually
• The reach and sensitivity can be individually adjusted for each of the three zones

This allows neighbouring properties or public streets and footpaths to be excluded from the detection zone and switching errors to be minimised.
The combination of three PIR sensors and innovative technology using mirrors also allows us to extend the sensor's radial and tangential detection coverage. As a result, the direction of travel has no effect on the coverage within a radius of up to 8 m. Accordingly, the IS 180 digi offers significantly better coverage than conventional infrared motion detectors.

• Twilight setting: select the lighting conditions in which the light switches on when motion is detected. This can be done in the app using the slider, as a direct number input, or via the teach function (in which the current brightness, or brightness measured at a certain time, is accepted as the new twilight value)
• Time setting: decide how long (5 secs – 60 mins) the light stays switched on after motion is detected
• Reach setting: three detection zones can be easily and flexibly activated and deactivated, and the sensor sensitivity adjusted
• Continuous light: switches the light on continuously until a freely selectable time, without detecting motion

All settings can be conveniently adjusted via the app.

The app also makes it possible to network any number of other Bluetooth Mesh products and assign group functions.
