Night-time illumination – but the smart way: provided with modern Bluetooth technology, the NightmatIQ Plus photo-cell controller is designed with sleek lines and scores with outstanding practical convenience. When the twilight threshold is reached in the evening, all connected lights (max. 1000 W/ LED: 250 W) are automatically switched on at the same time – reliably bathing entrances, premises, gardens or shop windows in the loveliest of light. And with an IP54 protection rating, in any weather. At the break of day, the lights then go out again all automatically. The twilight threshold the sensor responds to and activates lighting at can be set to any chosen level using the Steinel Connect app – from an ambient light level of 1 to 1000 lux. Benefiting from Bluetooth Mesh, NightmatIQ Plus can be wirelessly connected with a variety of STEINEL Connect lights and configured accordingly. Not only featuring a practical teach function for setting the twilight threshold, NightmatIQ Plus also comes with further useful functions enabling users to select a night economy mode and any chosen time settings. Using the Steinel Connect app, illumination ON time can be set 1.) On the basis of twilight level (ambient light level) or 2.) By timer:

1. Twilight setting: the twilight threshold can be set by app to any chosen level from approx. 1-1000 lux. This is either done by slider, direct numerical input or teach function (with this option, current light level or light level measured at any chosen time will be programmed in as the new twilight threshold)
2. Setting by timer: this option permits selection of the earliest and latest ON or OFF time (e.g. 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.)

Our night-economy mode is particularly energy-saving: this mode can be used for selecting any period of time (e.g. 2 a.m. - 4 a.m.) during the night in which lighting stays switched off to save further electricity.
