Modern light management

Modern light management: The intelligent and innovative light control in this residential complex is provided by 182 RS PRO LED S1 LED sensor lights. They can be installed as both wall and ceiling lights. Various intelligent functions reliably ensure energy-efficient light when corridors or stairwells are actually being used and light is needed.

Identification of the use of space by high frequency

The 5.8 GHz high-frequency sensor (HF) integrated in the luminaire reacts to the smallest movements. When a resident enters the hallway or stairwell, the light switches on automatically and immediately, without any delay. The integrated sensor can be adjusted to meet any requirement and reliably detects every movement within a radius of up to 8 metres in all directions around the luminaire.

Intelligent lighting

Many user-friendly settings can be made directly at the luminaire. The light level at which the RS PRO LED S1 should switch on can be set to any value between 2 and 2000 lux. The user can decide how long the light should stay on after the last movement is detected by adjusting the switch-off delay. Another option is the basic light level of 10 per cent. This provides subdued lighting in an area so that it is not completely dark when someone enters the corridor or stairwell, for example. As soon as the HF sensor detects movement, the light switches on immediately at full power. After the follow-up time has elapsed, it returns to the dimmed lighting level. The RS PRO LED S1 is designed so that it can be perfectly adapted to the respective situation and requirement with little effort.

Never change a light bulb again

The LED lighting system in sensor lights from STEINEL is protected against overheating by a special configuration and Active Thermo Control. This ensures that the lighting is always perfect and gives the LED lighting system a lifespan of approx. 30 years. No more changing bulbs The lifespan of the LED lighting system is not affected by frequent on/off switching, as is the case with conventional bulbs. This means no maintenance costs, but intelligent, reliable and trouble-free lighting.
