Experience smart spaces – spaces with optimal space utilisation and the best conditions. Our sensors continuously analyse the situation and provide information such as the number of people and occupancy of meeting rooms. This allows rooms and areas to be optimised for future use, while the building management systems adjust the lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The new EO sensor answers fundamental questions about building and space utilisation. To do this, it relies entirely on infrared technology for the analysis, thus ensuring maximum privacy protection. EO enables data-driven optimisations in various industries and sectors. In retail, for example, customer movements can be used for sales analysis, while in airports, office buildings, schools and production facilities, the sensor enables smarter building control in terms of health, safety and the environment.

About the product

Completely new analysis options

Zoning

Detailed recording and control through area division into up to 96 zones per sensor.

Counting

How many people are moving where in the building? This key information is what makes buildings smart.

Timing

Determining the frequency and length of stay in certain zones to control heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Tracking

Determine and analyse the routes of people with the help of unique and individual IDs.

Tracking Counting

"Red line concept" for precise tracking of violations of certain lines.

Temperature mapping

Precise temperature measurement in all zones of the detection area.

Capstone

With the new Capstone® software solution, it is now possible for the first time to recognise and visualise all IP and Bluetooth sensors and lights in the network. This provides a complete overview of the building status: temperature, humidity, CO2, VOC, noise, smoke, presence, brightness and number of people. Based on the analysed data, optimisation suggestions for better space utilisation can then be created.

Find out more

Which rooms are used by how many people and how often? The optical sensor detects the occupancy of meeting rooms and desks on a person-specific basis and transfers the data to FlexDesk or to meeting room management solutions. Based on the real-time data, heating, ventilation and air conditioning are then controlled. The data can be used for future decisions to optimise space.

Fields of application

Organising flexible workplaces

A workstation in a major international city costs €10,000 or more per year. Often, half of the workstations are not occupied. With the desk-sharing solution, you can see at a glance where there are still spaces available. The idea is to improve the occupancy rate and save money.

Manage meeting rooms

Which meeting room is free? Which one is occupied? Where is the meeting taking place? With our meeting room solution, you can quickly and reliably determine room utilisation and actual occupancy, and even find out how many people are in the room.

Optimise queues

No one likes standing in a queue, whether it's at the supermarket checkout or in the canteen at lunch time. The Waiting Line solution opens new checkouts and sends staff to the places where queues need to be quickly cleared.
