Refund policy
Steinel Australia does not sell products directly through this website. All Steinel products purchased in Australia are supplied through authorised distributors, wholesalers, retailers, or electrical contractors. As a result, returns, exchanges, refunds and change-of-mind requests must be handled directly with the retailer or distributor from whom the product was purchased.
Product Returns (Purchases Made Through a Retailer or Distributor)
If you wish to return a Steinel product, please contact your original place of purchase. Their return policies and processes will apply in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Your retailer may require:
• Proof of purchase
• The product to be in original condition and packaging
• A description of the issue or reason for return
If you’re unsure where the item was purchased, you may contact us and we can assist in directing you to the correct supplier.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact your retailer or distributor immediately so they can assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Items Not Eligible for Return Through Steinel Australia
As Steinel Australia does not sell products directly, we cannot accept:
• Direct product returns from end customers
• Change-of-mind returns sent to our warehouse
• Returns for items purchased from overseas or unauthorised marketplaces
• Returns for hazardous, customised, or modified products
Exchanges
Exchanges must be processed by the retailer or distributor who originally supplied the product. They will advise whether an exchange is available and outline any requirements.
Australian Consumer Law
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.
Consumers are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product fails to meet the consumer guarantees.
Warranty Support
If a retailer requires technical assistance or product inspection for a warranty claim, Steinel Australia will work directly with them to assess and resolve the matter promptly.
